InnovaSec

InnovaSec is a specialist consultancy supporting the development of innovative cyber and physical security technology that meets the needs of users. We are a UK SME located within the Severn Valley Cyber Security Cluster which links Malvern in the North to Bristol in the South.

Each of our four Directors has over 20 years' technical leadership experience. We lead or support teams who tackle demanding technical challenges or are developing new market offerings. Our experience comes from large and small businesses and from across Europe and the US.

As individuals and as a company we have, over the years, formed close working relationships with public sector organisations such as UK police forces, the UK Home Office, international ports and airports. We are currently working with universities and suppliers in Belgium, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and Sweden. We work with these organisations in a variety of roles and are fired up by supporting them in improving and maintaining security standards for the UK and European public.

Our business is about people: our customers, our partners, end users and, of course, our own team. We are a highly technically qualified team and we strongly favour evidence over assumptions.

Technology

Technology In an increasingly connected world, there are ever more cyber-physical systems whose functions range from making our lives safer and easier to providing us with the food, water and power we need to live. InnovaSec was founded to help secure this generation of systems, where IT and physics meet.

In working with us you may draw on a range of technology expertise you may require to complement that of other team members. Recent customers have called on us to provide the following:

Market

Market We have worked in the security market in Europe and the US for well over a decade. We are familiar with the apparent market fragmentation seen on both the demand and the supply side. In the last two years, we have analysed trade flows and quantified this fragmentation for the EU as part of a European study. The results of this analysis are currently in use by a number of public and private sector organisations to support market sizing activities. Because we have been active in this area for some time, we have worked for many users and with a substantial number of supply side partners and keep abreast of emerging needs and offerings.

This list is representative of our market facing activities and expertise:

Business

Business To complement our technical and marketing offerings we bring experience of managing and directing both small and large businesses. Our staff are aware of the constraints and objectives in running a successful business and we use a partnering approach to help our clients achieve their goals.

Because the cyber-physical area spans multiple disciplines we are used to team working and often work with business managers and leaders, legal and ethics experts, physicists and mathematicians, as well as engineers from a variety of different disciplines.

Our customers have defined the support they want from us in this area and in the last two years we have supplied the following:
